Think robotics is just about building bots? Think again! RoboThink’s STEAM Lab is where art and engineering collide in the most creative way. In this hands-on program, kids build a variety of machines from spirographs to kinetic sculptures that produce real art. Along the way, they explore famous artists and movements like Piet Mondrian’s geometry, Seurat’s pointillism, and Banksy’s street art. Students will also gain foundational knowledge in robotics and engineering concepts like gear ratios, DC motors, and mechanical design all while getting hands-on and having fun. It’s a perfect blend of education, creativity, and unforgettable experiences! Bring a smock and let’s get ready to have fun!
* Things to Bring- Your child may bring a nut-free snack and labeled water bottle!
* Pick Up Policy- Please come inside the classroom to pick up your child. We highly suggest coming to class 15 minutes early to see what your child made and take photos and videos of their robots before we disassemble them.
* Students will not be able to take robots home with them, but they will get to bring their artwork home!
